Meet Hakimuddin Habibulla

Hakimuddin Habibulla, an Olympian swimmer (Sydney 2000) and an Engineer, comes with over 25 years of experience in the Indian sporting domain as an athlete and beyond. Since 2006, he has been part of the founding teams of several public and private sports organizations. He is currently leading the transformation of Indian swimming with Myrtha Pools and Swimming Matters.

2. Why I like to eat healthy (or why eating healthy is important for our family)?

When I was an elite competitive swimmer I had to pay attention to what I ate. This foundation has served me and my family well even after I stopped competing as we continue to enjoy eating healthy food.

3. A dream I’m turning into reality into?

Enabling a billion Indians to love engaging with the water safely and to win Olympic Gold medals.

4. What’s that one fun thing you always do with your child/children?

Reading books and telling stories.

5. If your life would be a reality show, what would it be called?

A series for fortunate accidents.
