Celebrating Father’s Day With Superdad Abhishek Chopra

Meet Abhishek Chopra

Abhishek comes armed with a business degree from the University of Warwick and assignments with FMCG multinationals in UK and India. On the way, the entrepreneurship bug caught up with him, and the inanimate object which he always worshipped for it’s supposed magical powers became his business idea: Dress Shoes! He absolutely loves the classic style but always wanted dress shoes that were less regimented and which could seamlessly blend into any mood or occasion.

And walking in Churchill & Company, a D2C footwear brand with its designing and roots-based out of Northampton, England, and manufacturing based out of Punjab, India!

Get to know him:

1. Why I like to eat healthy (or why eating healthy is important for our family)?

I was a 110kg when I was 16-year-old and I am 72kg now! Fortunately, early on in my life, I realized how important it was to eat right and exercise. Once I lost the first 20 kgs, everything I did was better and faster. My concentration improved, I got better grades (straight As ) and most importantly, I felt great.

Also, with increasing awareness about the benefits of healthy eating in correlation to a longer & fitter life, it’s essential to eat right!

2. A dream I’m turning into reality is?

To promote and embrace sustainable living! My home, workplace, and factory are run on renewable energy. And water is next on the list. To conserve is the biggest gift that we can give to our upcoming generations. And every choice we make impacts it. Even the food we eat.

3. What’s that one fun thing you always do with your children?

Reading to Yohan right before bed and going on road trips. Just the two of us!

4. If your life would be a reality show, what would it be called?

Oh, “impractical jokers” for sure.

5. What is the easiest and happiest part of being a parent?

The easiest part would be being married to Pankhuri. She is the true sense is a super mom! Always on top of her game.

Humour and art are two very important things to me as a parent. Our son Yohan listens to rock music, plays the drums, and has a great sense of humour! It makes me very happy to watch him grow up enjoying simpler things that eventually have a big impact on your overall personality!
