Organic Jaggery Powder Lemonade For Thirsty Noons

by slurrp

Summer is in full swing in and bringing with it longer days, hot weather, and restless kids. Summer is usually about letting kids run amok, playing with friends the entire day as they enjoy their summer vacation. During the lockdown, however, things are a bit different and we parents have to find new and creative ways to keep kids and littles ones engaged at home.

This can be quite a task! Kids can be tough customers and at times quick to react. Little ones too can find that being indoors all day long makes them cranky. The key is to keep your kids engaged and busy so that at the end of every day, they are amply tired out and hit the bed without any further fuss.

An easy way to do this is to put them to work! Get the kids involved in the house, the kitchen, and any other daily activity you think they can help you with. This can include gardening, taking care of pets, and even doing the dishes. As fussy as kids can be it is equally easy to pique their interest, get them excited, and have them participate in something.

Cooking and helping out in the kitchen is a strong contender from the above options. Sure, some moms might find that having little ones in the kitchen actually slows things down but you can’t bake the pie and eat it too! There are tons of easy and simple recipes that kids can actually make for themselves, with your guidance of course. A lot of these include fun summer drinks for kids.

Done right, this can also be an excellent time to start teaching your children about healthy eating, healthy ingredients, and balanced nutrition. Kids can be the most prone to reaching for junk food and unhealthy snacks and as they get back to school and spending time outside the house, there is little we can do to control their unhealthy food intake. Therefore, it is imperative to impress upon them the importance of healthy eating. This only works however if we make it worth it for them; healthy needs to be yummy!

Challenging this might sound but it need not be. Take jaggery for instance. Jaggery is a superfood that is a great natural sugar substitute. Slurrp Farm Organic Jaggery Powder is what you should go for as it has none of the processed chemicals that sugar has and offers our bodies a natural and healthier sugar source.

Organic jaggery powder also has some fantastic additional benefits such as being a rich source of iron and antioxidants, making this great for boosting immunity.
