Get to know him:

1. Words I live by…

Change is an opportunity.

2. Why I like to eat healthy (or why eating healthy is important for our family)?

Sports and fitness are an integral part of our family’s life. My work requires me to travel extensively and I may not always have the time or facilities to get a workout, so I do my best to eat healthy. I hope that this sets an example for my children to make appropriate food choices.

3. What’s that one fun thing you always do with your child/children?

I love swimming with my kids and splashing about. One of the most fun recent experiences was spontaneously stopping beside an open field and running across it with the wind in our hair. It helps that vigorous activity builds up their appetite and makes it easier to get through mealtimes!

4. If your life would be a reality show, what would it be called?

The Boss Baby: Feeding Frenzy (it seems as if everything that my wife and I do is organized around kids’ meals).

5. What is the easiest and happiest part of being a parent?

Hanging back and watching the kids play outdoors with each other makes me happiest. Building peer relationships and sorting out their own little squabbles is an important part of growing up.
